W skrócie: podstawowe funkcje MapYou są bezpłatne. Dodatkowe daje opcjonalna subskrypcja MapYou Premium — kupujesz ją w App Store lub Google Play i anulujesz w każdej chwili w ustawieniach sklepu (pkt 8a). Twoje treści należą do Ciebie.
Korzystanie z aplikacji oznacza akceptację niniejszego regulaminu.
📱2 · Wymagania techniczne
- Urządzenie z systemem iOS 15+ lub Android 8+.
- Dostęp do internetu — wymagany do synchronizacji, funkcji społecznościowych i map. Rejestrowanie treningu działa również offline.
- Moduł GPS — wymagany do rejestrowania tras.
- Konto Google lub Apple — wymagane do rejestracji (patrz pkt 3).
🔑3 · Konto
Nie udostępniaj go innym osobom.
🚫4 · Zasady korzystania
Korzystając z Aplikacji, zobowiązujesz się nie:
- naruszać prawa, dobrych obyczajów ani praw osób trzecich,
- publikować treści obraźliwych, nienawistnych, pornograficznych, propagujących przemoc lub dyskryminację,
- publikować cudzych zdjęć, filmów i danych bez zgody osób, których dotyczą,
- fałszować wyników — w szczególności ręcznie edytować trasy, używać emulatorów lokalizacji („fake GPS") ani importować cudzych treningów jako własnych,
- używać automatów, botów ani skryptów do korzystania z Aplikacji,
- podejmować prób obejścia zabezpieczeń, uzyskania dostępu do cudzych danych ani obciążania infrastruktury ponad normalne użycie,
- wykorzystywać Aplikacji do śledzenia lub nękania innych osób.
W wyzwaniach i rankingach obowiązuje weryfikacja aktywności: liczą się treningi zarejestrowane w Aplikacji, a treningi importowane z zegarków — wyłącznie gdy zawierają ślad GPS.
- Zachowujesz wszystkie prawa do swoich Treści. Nie przejmujemy do nich praw autorskich.
- Publikując Treść, udzielasz nam niewyłącznej, nieodpłatnej licencji wyłącznie w zakresie niezbędnym do działania Aplikacji: przechowywania, wyświetlania Twoim odbiorcom, tworzenia miniatur i kopii zapasowych.
Odwołanie rozpatrujemy ponownie, a o wyniku informujemy. Przy uwzględnieniu treść wraca do poprzedniej widoczności.
- Konta.
Profil prywatny ogranicza widoczność do zatwierdzonych obserwujących.
Przemyśl, komu przekazujesz link — pozwala on śledzić Twoje położenie w czasie rzeczywistym.
- Kluby i wyzwania tworzą Użytkownicy.
⚕️7 · Zdrowie i bezpieczeństwo — ważne
👑8a · MapYou Premium (subskrypcja)
Co to jest. MapYou Premium to opcjonalna, płatna subskrypcja.
Cenę i okres (miesiąc albo rok) widzisz przed zakupem w Aplikacji i w oknie sklepu; w różnych krajach ceny mogą się różnić — ustala je sklep w walucie Twojego konta.
- Okres próbny — jeśli oferta go obejmuje, przez podany czas (np. 7 dni) korzystasz bezpłatnie; sklep udziela go raz na konto.
albo usuwamy Konto (pkt 10):
- zawieszenie czasowe (np. 7 lub 30 dni) nie przedłuża subskrypcji o czas zawieszenia i nie daje zwrotu — Premium wraca razem z dostępem do Konta;
Właściciel widzi nazwy członków, a członkowie nazwę właściciela.
- Po zakończeniu subskrypcji — zostaje wszystko, co zdobyłeś: odebrane nagrody karnetu, trofea i zapisane podsumowania. Tor premium karnetu zostaje otwarty do końca sezonu (miesiąca), w którym miałeś Premium. Trener AI wraca do darmowego limitu.
- Zmiany zakresu — możemy rozwijać i zmieniać funkcje Premium. O istotnym ograniczeniu informujemy w Aplikacji z co najmniej 14-dniowym wyprzedzeniem; możesz wtedy anulować subskrypcję.
- Reklamacje — dotyczące działania Premium zgłaszaj nam (pkt 11); dotyczące płatności i zwrotów — sklepowi, w którym kupiłeś subskrypcję.
- urazy i wypadki powstałe podczas aktywności fizycznej,
📬11 · Reklamacje
Reklamacje zgłaszaj na hello.leszek.mikrut@gmail.com, opisując problem i — jeśli to możliwe — dołączając zrzut ekranu. Odpowiadamy w ciągu 14 dni.
Konsumenci mogą korzystać z pozasądowych sposobów rozpatrywania reklamacji, m.in. platformy ODR Komisji Europejskiej oraz mediacji przy Wojewódzkich Inspektoratach Inspekcji Handlowej.
🔁12 · Zmiany regulaminu
⚖️13 · Prawo właściwe i spory
Regulamin podlega prawu polskiemu.
In short: MapYou's core features are free. More comes with the optional MapYou Premium subscription — you buy it in the App Store or Google Play and can cancel it any time in the store settings (section 8a). Your content stays yours. You exercise at your own risk — the app is not a medical device. You can delete your account at any time directly in the app.
Version 1.1 · effective 30 October 2026 · previous version: 1.0 (31 July 2026) — change: MapYou Premium (sections 8 and 8a)
📘1 · General provisions
These Terms govern the use of the MapYou mobile app and related services available at mapyou.leszekmikrut.com.
The service provider is Leszek Mikrut, a natural person, Poland. Contact: hello.leszek.mikrut@gmail.com.
Using the app means you accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.
Definitions: App — MapYou together with its server services; User — a person using the App; Account — the set of data linked to a User; Content — data entered by the User (workouts, photos, descriptions, comments).
📱2 · Technical requirements
- A device running iOS 15+ or Android 8+.
- Internet access — required for syncing, social features and maps. Workout recording also works offline.
- GPS — required to record routes.
- A Google or Apple account — required to sign up (see section 3).
🔑3 · Account
- You may use the App without an account. Workouts are then stored locally only and are not available on other devices.
- Sign-up happens through Google or Apple. We never create or store passwords.
- After signing up, your existing device data is attached to the Account.
- An Account is personal. Do not share it with others.
- One User may hold one Account. Creating accounts to bypass limits or distort competition is prohibited.
- Accounts may be created by people aged 13 and over. Those under 16 need the consent of a legal guardian.
🚫4 · Rules of use
When using the App, you agree not to:
- break the law, public decency or the rights of others,
- post offensive, hateful, pornographic content, or content promoting violence or discrimination,
- post other people's photos, videos or data without their consent,
- falsify results — in particular by manually editing routes, using location spoofing ("fake GPS") or importing someone else's workouts as your own,
- use bots, automation or scripts to operate the App,
- attempt to bypass security, access other users' data, or place unusual load on the infrastructure,
- use the App to track or harass other people.
Challenges and leaderboards apply activity verification: workouts recorded in the App always count, while imports from watches count only if they contain a GPS track. Manual entries and archive imports do not count.
🖼️5 · Your content
- You keep all rights to your Content. We claim no copyright over it.
- By publishing Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence strictly to the extent needed to run the App: storing it, displaying it to your audience, generating thumbnails and backups. The licence ends when you delete the Content or your Account.
- We never use your Content for promotion or advertising, nor share it with third parties.
- You are responsible for having the right to publish the Content.
- We may remove Content that breaches these Terms or the law — telling you the reason where possible.
🚫5a · Zero tolerance for objectionable content
In short: we have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
- Prohibited content includes: harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual content, violence, impersonation, spam and anything unlawful.
- Reporting. Every piece of content by another user has a ⋯ → Report option. Reports reach us immediately.
- Blocking. You can block any user (⋯ → Block). Blocking works both ways — neither of you sees the other. Undo it in Profile → Settings → Blocked.
- Our response. Every report is reviewed within 24 hours. We inform both sides — the reporter and the author — and give the reason for our decision.
- What happens to the content. Content that violates these terms is hidden: other users can no longer see it, but it stays visible to its author. We don't delete it, so that a wrong decision can be undone. Until an appeal is reviewed the author cannot change its visibility, but can still edit the title, description and photos.
- Appeals. If you believe a decision was wrong, you can appeal: ⋯ → Appeal this decision on your content, or through the notification in the bell. We review the appeal again and inform you of the outcome. If upheld, the content returns to its previous visibility.
- Accounts. Accounts responsible for serious or repeated abuse are suspended or permanently deleted.
- Contact: mapyou.app@gmail.com
By using the App you accept that there is no place in it for objectionable content or abusive users.
👥6 · Social features
- You set the visibility of each activity yourself. A private profile limits visibility to approved followers.
- Live position sharing is started manually, for chosen people, and ends with the workout. Think about who you send the link to — it allows real-time tracking of your position.
- Clubs and challenges are created by Users. A club owner is responsible for its content and moderation.
- Friend and club invitations work via links. Anyone with the link can join — do not post them publicly.
⚕️7 · Health and safety — important
MapYou is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any disease. Distance, pace, heart rate and calorie figures are estimates and may differ from reality — they depend on GPS accuracy, device sensors and environmental conditions.
- Consult a doctor before starting a training programme, especially if you have health problems, are pregnant or are returning from injury.
- You exercise at your own risk. Stay aware of your surroundings, traffic and weather. Do not operate your phone while driving.
- Do not rely on the App in life-threatening situations. Navigation and maps may be inaccurate or out of date.
- GPS recording drains the battery significantly — plan for this on longer outdoor activities.
🔧8 · Service availability
We do our best to keep the App running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Technical breaks, updates and third-party outages may occur.
We reserve the right to change, limit or discontinue selected features. We announce material changes in the App at least 14 days in advance.
The App's core features are provided free of charge, "as is"; the paid subscription is described in section 8a. We recommend keeping your own copies of important data.
👑8a · MapYou Premium (subscription)
What it is. MapYou Premium is an optional paid subscription. It includes, among other things: a big daily AI budget for the coach, a summary after every workout and weekly plan reviews (we count the budget in language-model units — tokens — per day and per month, and the App shows what is left in percent; an unused budget does not carry over to the next day or month), the premium track of the Season Pass with an extra daily quest, premium challenges with trophies and points, and a gold badge next to your name (you can hide it). The current scope is always described on the "MapYou Premium" screen in the App.
What stays free. Everything else, including workout recording, routes, training plans, social features and the watch app. Without a subscription the AI coach, summaries and plan reviews share one small free AI budget that renews every month.
- Purchase and payment — only through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google). The store is the seller in this transaction: it takes the payment, charges taxes and sends the receipt. We never see your card details. You see the price and period (month or year) before buying, in the App and in the store window; prices may differ between countries — the store sets them in your account's currency.
- Free trial — if the offer includes one, you use Premium free for the stated time (e.g. 7 days); the store grants it once per account. We send a reminder 2 days before the trial ends. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the store charges the first period on the date shown when you subscribed. During the trial the premium pass rewards and premium challenge trophies are visible, but you can claim them only after the first payment; if the trial ends without a payment, they are gone.
- Renewal and cancellation — the subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel it in the store's subscription settings (Apple: Settings → your account → Subscriptions; Google: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions) at least 24 hours before the current period ends. After cancelling, Premium works until the end of the paid period. Uninstalling the App or deleting your Account does not cancel the subscription — cancel it in the store.
- Price changes — the store informs you about a price increase and, where the law or the store's rules require it, asks for your consent before renewing at the new price.
- Refunds and withdrawal — refunds are handled by the store under its rules (Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com; Google: in the Google Play app). Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the rules of the store where the subscription was bought. After a refund, Premium ends at once, not at the end of the period, and premium rewards claimed in the current pass season are taken back (a worn frame, title or trail comes off); rewards from earlier, paid seasons stay. Cancelling is not a refund: a cancelled subscription will not renew, but Premium works until the end of the paid period.
- Bought AI tokens — an Account with Premium can buy a pack of AI tokens (e.g. 1,000,000 tokens) as a one-time purchase in the App Store or Google Play. Bought tokens are used only after the daily and monthly Premium budget, work past those limits, never expire and stay on the Account after Premium ends. They are not money, cannot be moved to another account or exchanged for money, and are lost when the Account is deleted. Refunds go through the store; after a refund the tokens of that pack are removed, and tokens used before the refund reduce the next pack.
- Breaking these Terms and Premium — the store subscription does not stop by itself when we
suspend or delete an Account (section 10):
- a temporary suspension (e.g. 7 or 30 days) does not extend the subscription by the suspension time and gives no refund — Premium comes back together with access to the Account;
- a permanent suspension or deletion of the Account for a breach ends Premium. If the subscription is from Google Play, we refund the unused part of the last payment ourselves (in proportion to the days left in the paid period) and cancel the subscription. There is no refund for time already used. If it is from the App Store, we cannot refund you ourselves: you ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com and cancel the subscription in Settings → your account → Subscriptions so it does not renew. On request we confirm by email that access has ended.
- Family plan — the owner of a family plan can share Premium with up to 3 other people who have a MapYou account (4 people in total), using a code from the App. Members have Premium while the owner's plan is active; the owner can remove a member and a member can leave at any time. The owner sees the members' names and the members see the owner's name.
- When the subscription ends — everything you earned stays: claimed pass rewards, trophies and saved summaries. The premium track of the pass stays open until the end of the season (month) in which you had Premium. The AI coach returns to the free limit.
- Changes to the scope — we may develop and change Premium features. We announce any material reduction in the App at least 14 days in advance; you can then cancel the subscription.
- Complaints — about how Premium works: to us (section 11); about payments and refunds: to the store where you bought the subscription.
⚠️9 · Liability
We are liable for damage caused intentionally and within the limits set by mandatory provisions of law.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- damage arising from inaccurate GPS data, maps or statistics,
- injuries and accidents occurring during physical activity,
- data loss caused by device failure or a third-party provider,
- the actions of other Users,
- outages of third-party services.
These limitations do not affect consumer rights arising from mandatory provisions of law.
🚪10 · Ending your use
- You may delete your Account at any time: Profile → Settings → "Delete account". Deletion is irreversible and covers all your data.
- You may also simply stop using the App and uninstall it.
- We may suspend or delete an Account in case of serious or persistent breaches of these Terms — after a prior warning, unless the breach is severe (e.g. harassment of others or an attack on the App). What happens to a paid MapYou Premium subscription then is described in section 8a ("Breaking these Terms and Premium").
- Before deleting your Account you may request a copy of your data (see Privacy Policy, section 12).
📬11 · Complaints
Send complaints to hello.leszek.mikrut@gmail.com, describing the problem and — if possible — attaching a screenshot. We reply within 14 days.
Consumers may use out-of-court complaint resolution, including the European Commission's ODR platform.
🔁12 · Changes to these Terms
We announce changes in the App at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the changes take effect means you accept them. If you do not accept them, you may delete your Account.
⚖️13 · Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Polish law. This does not limit the protection afforded to consumers by the law of their country of habitual residence.
Disputes are settled by the court having jurisdiction under general rules. A consumer may sue the service provider before the court of their place of residence.
Matters not covered here are governed by the Polish Civil Code and the Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means.
